Character Development

Character development is essential for any plot as it impacts the story in any way depending on the desired impact on the plot. In a whole Character Development means lots in any story for is helps balance out a character and defines their role in a plot and how that affects the plot itself. For example in a plot where a character is hotheaded and impulsive, over the course of a movie they might learn from each mistake and make them grow as a character and affect the course of the plot.

Audio that works

 For my project I planned to use a more diegetic audio to make the opening scene feel smoother and deeper with small non diegetic audio for the credit sequence. I also plan to make the credits music something being listened to by the main character though headphones or maybe a speaker. I also plan to have slight cursing from the bullies and other characters.

The language also intends to have cursing in it as it fits the potion and idea in the film.

Costumes n props

 For my project the costumes and props are going to help inference many things about the character wearing them. 

Their clothes are gonna represent them as a character and their status in the movie intro, the props will help show different things about the characters and show inform storyline wise about them.

Lighting under the sun

 The lighting will be mostly natural and time based, though shots on the inside will have different lighting. I plan to use the outdoors a lot in this opening because of the bully theme of it and helps me not have to worry so much about it. I also plan to make it outdoors to add a more meaningful light impact.

Style that inspired

 The style that inspired even though its corny was a bully character archetype for this from anime, Disney movies and high school tropes. I like the concept of being pushed to become better because of someone else's harassment and find it a easy yet impactful way to build a character. 

With that in mind i had an idea to use this trope of being bullied/stolen from because of their disability and is bullied by a group for it. This would allow for creative and impactful moments from the bullies. 

Group meeting number 1

 In this meeting, I and the other group members got great advice for our respective ideas.

Kylie

Her idea was a Killer chef feeding a dead person at the end of the opening. Her idea was to have scenes of the chef cooking and at the end the scene the chef tries feeding said corpse. We said she should play with lighting and color for the scene.

Lorenzo

He wanted to do a Mystery feel for the opening with an unknown killer. We suggested to use a news article to explain what's happening and illuminate the room, and to play with  lighting of the room for emphasis of the mystery vibe.

Luca

He originally decided to do a romance movie but couldn't figure out how to start so instead switched to a thriller of someone who partied to hard and tried to sneak back in. 

Henry

Has an a artistic approach to do with the credits where he uses items to spell out the names of actors, directors, Etc. Is going to have the items based off the characters and music.

Valeria

Is doing a Roma where this over achiever/overthinker who is obsessed with getting only A's but then this guy meets her and he kind of becomes her break away from this perfect life.

Mine

Got ideas for these competitors to weigh in for a boxing team then this weaker, anorexic gets bullied for being light and weaker.
