My final post

 This was overall a fun experience and gave me a lot to learn about films and media in a whole so with that I publish my film opening/CRR's

CCR Ideas

 Originally i was dead set on a talk show for my CCR but after seeing some of the past students i got more ideas on a wider scale. Not only was i thinking of a talk show, I also started thinking about a get ready with me! Kidding Kidding, but seriously i started thinking of creative ideas i could try and I thought of the obvious Talk show but could have also done a Fan Meet and Greet kind of thing where each CCR question is a fan question. If I were to do a talk show i thought to name it Athena's intel or something to that effect.

Group meeting #2

 This is the second group meeting for the Portfolio Project 

Misria: They refiled a lot of the film and are now done, their on the editing phase and the font and the credits. She was suggested to use a more plain font and put the credits on the lower side of the screen to show the lower side of the characters life. Her logo matches the theme of the film called "1%". She has the story based on this girl in debt cause of gambling.

Valeria D:  Project about a teen who sneaks into a party and sneaks back in the morning. Suggested her to use party supplies and use that for the credits. Has a idea to use pillows and such for it. Still has to film.

Valeria O: About a person who focuses school and not on social life, and on the struggles of it. Has fonts down mostly. Partner has camera to change lighting, but is still struggling a bit. Wants to have a school therapist and is unsure where to do it, but likely will use the library.

Leo: Phycological thriller, and black and white. Picky with the music. His teammate and him have high quality. Plans to use a police station. Is still in a planning-ish stage and hasn't filmed yet. Font: Cormorant Garamond, that's the idea.

Maximo: Robber who tries to steal clothes cause their poor. Cause their homeless. Nighttime light and trying to steal cloths for something. No ideas for CCR.

Gabriel (me):   Talked a lot, was suggested to do more with the font, and use a comic like font

Production logo

 When i thought of my logo i thought of referencing Greek/Roman Mythology in the logo. My first thought was Apollo though he was an extremely common god referenced in media. I instead searched for the god of theater which according to some sources pointed to Dionysus. With that i got an idea for a production logo having to do with wine glasses and his love for wine. At first I tried searching the internet for images but couldn't find any, so then I turned to my iPad to draw it.

Fonts for wants

 My font ideas were all over, from cursive to blunt to cluttered. My original idea was to have it cursive but that didn't really fit the tone of the media. I then thought of a rougher more demanding font that really seemed to work for the film. As a manga/comic fan, I thought of that kind of text and checked it out. In the end i decided on Titled "Fighting Spirit".

Character Development

Character development is essential for any plot as it impacts the story in any way depending on the desired impact on the plot. In a whole Character Development means lots in any story for is helps balance out a character and defines their role in a plot and how that affects the plot itself. For example in a plot where a character is hotheaded and impulsive, over the course of a movie they might learn from each mistake and make them grow as a character and affect the course of the plot.

Audio that works

 For my project I planned to use a more diegetic audio to make the opening scene feel smoother and deeper with small non diegetic audio for the credit sequence. I also plan to make the credits music something being listened to by the main character though headphones or maybe a speaker. I also plan to have slight cursing from the bullies and other characters.

The language also intends to have cursing in it as it fits the potion and idea in the film.
